The staff here is friendly, the location is fantastic, the building and rooms are amazing with Victorian decoration, there's a great pool, and convenient on-site parking available.

location: the hotel was close enough to cruise ships, privately owned boats, and the bay and forests. i was there for 5 nights and ate at gourmet restaurant with the most obliging waiters. the atmosphere created was quiet.

The bed was unbelievably comfy, definitely one of the best on our 12-day trip. The hotel was spotless, and having a pool was a game-changer, as it was the only one we found. The location, nestled in a beautiful residential area, added to the charm, even though it's a bit away from food and town. We can't wait to return if we're ever in the area again.

Outstanding food - well composed, fresh ingredients, well presented. Service slightly aloof. The rooms are nicely furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was offered with plenty of variety and is served until 10:30 in the morning.

While few hotels of this nature and age are air conditioned in Europe, our request for a fan during the few hot days was met with a resounding 'don't have', we ended up buying one. Because there were a number of stairs to be negotiated with our luggage we would have liked some assistance. While we were met outside the hotel on arrival, no assistance was offered and it was up to us to carry the suitcases up one floor to reception and then down one floor to the room.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. the staff are service-oriented and genuinely helpful. - We thoroughly enjoyed the lake, located within a 5-minute walk of the property.

Quiet location and still near the city - walking distance to the city centre is around 20 min.

The breakfast buffet is good but to expensive (17 Euro per person). The menu selection in the restaurant is too small and too expensive. But there are a choice of restaurants at the seaside with far more resonable prices (also serving breakfast). The pool could be a bit warmer.

Its staff are service-minded and especially helpful.

The rooms were spacious and had a bathtub, which was exactly what we wanted. The breakfast spread was mind-blowing, with so many options to choose from. Even though there was no AC, keeping the windows open made the room nice and cool. The location was great, just a short walk to a beautiful park and a short distance from the city center. Everything was clean and well-maintained. The bed was super comfortable, the pool was a great addition, and we enjoyed unwinding in the relaxed residential area. We would definitely consider staying here again.
